Patient Survey 2016


A patient survey was carried out in August 2016, the results have now been collated, discussed and actioned.   

The survey was discussed at the PPG meeting, held on 17 November 2016.     The results were very encouraging and the members of the PPG thought that they showed the commitment of Dr Sinha and the staff in their aim to provide a quality service to all our patients.

There were some issues that were raised and we aim to address these where we can.

  • 'Patients waiting outside the GP's room can hear conversations'

       Patients no longer sit outside the GP's room since the start of the Self-service Check in system.

  • 'A separate room to speak to staff confidentially should be available.'

      A separate room is always available, and there is a Poster in the Waiting Room advertising this.

  • 'Difficulty speaking to the GP on the telephone'

      Staff now take details of Patients who wish to speak to the GP and the GP contacts them after his surgery is finished.

  • 'The Dr doesn't always listen to my concerns'

       Dr Sinha and the Practice Manager have discussed this and we aim to improve the consultations Dr Sinha holds with his Patients.
